Well after a long day at work, I get in the stang turn it over, and let off the key, and it doesent start, so I think I did not let it turn over long enough. I turn it over again, this time for maybe 5 seconds, and still it doesent start up..... I let it sit for a minute or so, and then it fired right up? any one have this happen??

Keep the car turning over until it starts. It probably had too much un-burnt gas from previous attempt........my 2 cents anyways.

It shouldn't have any unburned gas to speak off. This is a fuel injected car. The ECU shouldn't even start firing the injectors until it has synced the engine (knows what cyclinder is were), the fuel pressure is correct, and the engine speed has exceeded the minimum start speed. Then it should fuel and fire the spark.

Once the engine speed exceeds a certain rpm, it will change from a start mode and go into a run mode.

But, the Spanish Oak processor HAS shown itself to have a few strange behaviors too.

I can flood my Honda any time by not starting it all the way on the first turn of the key, but it always starts on the next attempt. Your problem doesn't sound like a flooded engine. If it was, the engine would have run a little rough after it was cranked.

Maybe it is just a one time deal and won't repeat itself.

I still don't understand why you would let go of the key when the engine has yet to fire up......

Well after about 5-6 seconds of cranking, I let the key go..... how long does it take your car to fire up?? I'm guessing less than 5-6 seconds..........
