No cigarette / ash trays are also a cost-cutting measure.

I think it is so discussing to pull up to a left turn lane and stop. Look out the window and see the piles of butts sitting there.
I was driving one day and a person flicked their butt. It caught the wind and flew right into my vent intake. I had to smell the cigarette until it went out.
I don't care if you smoke, just be respectful.

Someone showed me a remote tip that really works. If you're ever in a situation where the remote isn't working well or you need extra range, just place it against your chin and press the button. It really works, but may look kind of funny.

No key hole cause you don't drive from that side. LOL Please note THere is no keyhole on the hood.

The reason there is no key on the passanger side door, is for theft purposes. I saw a tv show on it a year or so ago. (Almost all cars in the last 5 years don't have the passanger side key hole.) Apparently, since that side is the side against the side walk, it would force a thief to disable the lock on the street side, instead.... Or atleast thats what they said. I would put my money on a cost saving plan.

I can honestly say a key hasn't hit a door of mine in at least 9 years.
I pop the trunk with the remote, I unlock the driver side, and I hit the unlock thing on the drivers armrest if I have a passenger.
The only things I can not live without and will miss are a trunk popper inside. I shop, I like to drive inside the garage, pop my trunk and move on.
Oh and my two hideyholes(I assume ones for a garage door opener, cause I use for that and my xm remote) and the other I use for bubble gum and starbursts. Yes, Im sad......

I personally have used the keyfob to pop the trunk with the car running, in park.

You can pop the trunk with the key fob at any time, maybe not if the car is in drive.

If it does work for the 05, then great.
Two answers:
1) You can pop the trunk by using the Keyfob so long as the car is NOT MOVING. Does not matter if in Drive, Park, Reverse, etc - but speed must be 0.
2) Global Open/Close of windows is only on cars with Active Anti Theft option.

It occurs to me I don't care for the word "fob"
with no ashtray, you got no choice but to be a horrid person and flick em out.
Trust me though, on occasion, you can have fun with cigarette butts on the road. Don't ask...

I like to have a mechanical backup in case of electrical or electronic failure. Might not be so important fresh off the showroom floor, but 5-10 years down the line (I tend to hold onto my cars a while), that backup is a very reassuring thing.

[/b][/quote]Yep, since the human body is conductive (ever got zapped by an electrical gadget?), we make fine antennae.
Also works fine if your beach boombox gets poor radio reception. Just grab the radio antenna. (hey, sometimes you wanna hear the sports broadcasts..)
