Just called my dealer to check on my order (ordered on 11/17) he said my order is submitted but they have to wait for their Ford rep to show up on either friday or monday because there are no allocations for the GT mustangs anywhere in the area. What does this mean?

It's a Screaming Yellow GT premium, manual, IUP, side airbags, anti-theft, upgraded wheels, locking lugnuts, shaker 1000

No allocations means no orders. The dealer can accept your order and place it in the "bank." But until he gets an allocation, it won't be built.

When I picked up my GT, my dealer said they were out of allocations for a couple of months. Seemed like a while, but they ordered a lot up front. So maybe they used them all.

But since you are getting IUP an da spoiler, you might have to wait anyway.

Sold orders are price protected. Just make sure you verify everything with your dealer.

Ernie Haire Ford in Tampa tried to tell a co-worker that "Ford is only making 12 more Mustang GT's until the end of this year". Yes, TWELVE MORE - that's it until January. Where do these people come from?!

Hi Emilee

Where did you order it from? I live in Boise, and there have been 3 Gt's between the dealerships here so far (no yellow)

Dan Wiebold in Nampa has a yellow 6, and Lithia has a legend lime GT, plus 3 or 4 V6 on the lot.

It may be worth the drive.

Sounds like a classic case of someone mixing up a Ford GT and a Ford MUSTANG GT.....
