I've been lurking for awhile and based on the information posted, I took the plunge a few months ago. I called and found my car was built on June 28 (two weeks early!!!) and is due at the dealer sometime around the 15th.

Here's my info:

Arrival 7/5 (PLEASE!!!!)


My picture shows the 1st step my wife agreed to...she talked me into this one!!!!

Hey Wayne, congrats on a cool car!! Here are a few dancers for ya. I haven't yet seen a CS in person yet. I see in your info, your in NE PA. Where abouts are you? If your pretty close to where I'm at, I'd love to see your GT/CS when you get her. There are several car shows in the area that welcome new cars as well as old ones. Let me know, and maybe we can meet up. I got to check out your car. I love the front and rear bumpers of the GT/CS's. Congrats again, and nice color (I'm a bit partial, lol).

Yes, that is an MGB in my Avatar. It was my first mid-life crisis my wife let me indulge in. However, you all should know after doing ~80 on a back road around here she looked around reaized there was no roll bar and her head is actually above the windshield. At that moment she came to the conclusion I needed something "safer"...she and my son told me to get the Mustang...who am I to disagree?

I don't know about the rest of you, but this sounds to me like confirmation that shipments are happening during the shutdown...??....

 

Wayne, that's great on the B. My dad collects British cars, has a 71 MGB and a 63 Healey 3000 MK II. The 71 B was what I learned to drive on. Love that car.

 

Hey Wayne, thats not too far away at all. I also work in Lansdale, at the Ford dealer. Hey, if your familiar with Harleysville PA at all, and are into cars alot, at the Walmart on Rt 63, there is a cruise night on the second Saturday of every month. Its a free thing. Just bring your cool car, park it with the rest of the crowd, and have a walk around. Last month, over 200+ cars . It's this Saturday, and with the weather looking like it may be nice this weekend, there may be as many or more this month. I'll be there. If you can stop by, look for a Vista Blue GT with Performance White stripes, with it's hood up. Feel free to say hi, and talk Mustangs. And btw, even if you don't have your Mustang yet, you can still come on by, and look around. Hope to see you there.

 

I've been to the show at the Walmart in Harleysville. I won't be in town this weekend, but I'll make the one in August.

I checked again today...customer service said my car went on the truck on Monday...the waiting is killing me...
