New wheels BUT Frustration beware the cheap deal!

I was so excited! I got these on Wed 2 weeks after ordering them.

Great deal on "cheap" wheels. I was going to buy these from Mustang Tuning (MT) or American Tuning which ever you perfer but I got a better deal somewhere else and went with them. I usually get my stuff from MT but went with the better price....big mistake.
When I ordered it took my 4 hours to get ahold of the salesman incharge of the order but things happen. Order was placed and things were good so I thought. Well on Monday this week I got my credit card statement from the order and the wheels were not on the bill so I called to see if there was a mistake about the order. "No" everything was fine I was told wheels shipped last week. Could I get a tracking number I asked...um I didn't get one they didn't give it to me, and click! Well the wheels came Wed so everything was fine so I thought. I opened the wheels and wow man are they beautiful!!!
I was so happy

I got my tires mounted on WED it was cheap only $50, and went to put them on my car on Friday around 4PM......
They don't fit!!! WRONG OFFSET!!!!! These are for the 2004 and below. SO I call my salesman and come to find out that he doesn't work there full time he has another job. I was given another number to try. This was roughly 2PM I left a message and a EMAIL was sent to him as well. I called his other number to find if I could leave an email but he wasn't as the desk so Message left. I called to see if I could maybe talk to another saleman at this company, no one was there to talk and the GM/sales was gone for the day but he can call me back monday???? Well no response yet from anyone and I'm out the cost of the wheels cause they are mounted and the cost of the fee to mount them for a wheel that is not for my car!!!! Even if they do allow me to return them I'll end up paying for the mount and und mount and shipping on teh wheel....WTF do I do?
I hope that they will help me out!!! I have no idea what to do but I know These will not fit my car!
ANY IDEAS?

Just curious...what does not fit? Is the lug bolt pattern wrong, or just the off-set? I ask because I have been using 2002 Ford Black Bullits (17in) on my 05GT with 255x45x17 tires and have had no troubles at all. Wheels do not extend beyond the fenders.

There isn't awhole lot for the lug to grab onto. I don't know how safe they'd be. So your 2002's fit? I'll give it another try in the morning!

Are the spokes clipping your calipers?

The offset shouldn't affect how much thread is left for the lugnuts unless the calipers are hitting the wheels and keeping them from sitting up against the hubs all the way. The offset usually only affects how far the wheels stick out or stick in.

I'm running FRPP Chrome Mach 1 wheels that are for 94-04's on my 05 no problem.

Thanks I'll give them a shot. I'm hearing that there are lots more out there on our S197's.

would spacers solve your problems?
I know those running stock 64E wanting big brake upgrade (which isn't possible on the stock 18" rims, due to not enough offset for the big calipers) are doing just fine with half inch spacers.

I had been using chrome bullits from the 99-04 MY from a couple days after I got my 2005 Mustang GT until around November 2006 when I upgraded to 18" wheels/tires (18x10 in the rear and 18x9 in the front)...new wheels are chrome deep-dish bullits.

In the close to 2 years I had the 99-04 wheels I never had a problem with them on my 05.

The 1st picture was taken about two months after I got the car. The wheels are from the 99-04 MY
The 2nd picture is what I have now.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the problem with the SN95 wheels that they stick out FARTHER than they "should."

Therefore, I don't think there would be ANY issues with caliper clearance, and spacers would just make the wheels stick out farther.

I've heard of caliper issues before with running different offsets. Its a simple question. So the wheels I have for an 02' sit because they clip the calipers because the of the wierd spoke design and don't fit the s-197.They do however fit the 98'Cobra I sold my nephew.
