New Pics of Shelby CS69's on a Stang...

Can't agree with you more!!!! How come the majority of rims (that I have seen) for the S-197 go from 17, 18 To 20... 19's would be the perfect fit IMO. I currently have 18's and have always thought that an inch bigger would make all the difference!

I just got this email from CS wheels regarding the CS69's:
"The CS-69 20 x 9 is a front and rear application wheel and has a +30 offset, the wheel weight is 30lbs. The CS-69 20 x 10 is a rear wheel application only and has a +45 offset, the wheel weight is 33lbs.
The CS-69 is an 18 x 9.5 front and rear application with a +45 offset, the weight is 27lbs. The CS-69 18 X 9.5 mold is underway and inventory is about 90 days out."

Wasn't sure on these but they look excellent on an actaul car...(as opposed to an un-actual car???)...Another strong vote for 19's. DUbs don't have enough sideall for regular road use, 18's you can still feel a little sidewall flex pushing hard (I've had BFG KDW, Conti ContiSports, Yoko AVs...) and the 19's would porbably hit that thin little sweet spot between handling response feel and daily ride....

DaddyJ, I totally agree.
The GT500 prototype had 19's on it, and they looked perfect as far as wheel/tire sidewall ratio, just the right blend of musclular tire and modern sport car wheel size. When they eventually downsized them to an 18 on the production GT500, I'm sure it was a smoother ride, but it certainly make the car look less dramatic and plain. especially when you can get 18's from the factory on GT's.
I often see ads for parts where they use a GT500 image and in many cases they use the prototype images since the car just looks more striking with the 19's on it.
I think Roush makes a forged 20-inch version of the GT500 wheels, and to me they don't look as good as the 19's did. The length of the spokes and their thickness, combined with the spacing around them, just balanced out perfectly on those prototype 19's.
The PJ Saleen is the only semi-factory model that comes with 19's I am aware of.

Unfortunately, CS Wheels will not be producing 19's...at this time.
"The answer to your question on when will we offer this wheel in 19”, the answer is, there is no plan at this time to build a 19” because of not only the cost of the tire but the availability. The sizes that dominate the market is 18” & 20” for the Mustang.
Hope this helps, thanks for the link, I forwarded this to Mr. Shelby so he could read it as well."
