I've been visiting here for months, but haven't posted in yet...
After hedging for months waiting for the 06 colors hoping for a darker blue, I ordered A Redfire GT, Dark grey leather, IUP, automatic... been waiting for this for years since I sold my 68 coupe.
Anyway, I have a priority code of 16, and all my other numbers, so I am hoping for a build date soon and to not be bumped to 06.. but I would like to know if anyone can pm me the # to the ERL? I know it isn't published in the forum, but I would like to have it if it is possible...

Welcome to the site.
If you are priority 16, that probably means that there are 6 cars in front of you at the dealer (priorities 10-15), assuming that they use the sequential numbers for priority. I would say that you are most-likely going to get bumped to an '06. But, ya never know, Good Luck!

Well, hopefully you are all wrong! I don't want to wait 6 more months, even if that means I can get 18s on it. My dealer does have allocation left, I just need to badger them into bumping me up the list. With only 4 or 5 unscheduled build weeks left, it might be tough...

I ordered in February - but what is comes down to is if your dealer has any allocations left. I have seen people recently (on this site) that ordered after me and now have their cars...)
My dealer tells me that I will still get mine, maybe late June or early July. I am a little nervous about it.

OK, so the ERL told me that I am serialized, but have not been scheduled....before I start gloating to all that said I was doomed to wait for an 06, well, do I have reason to gloat with just a serialization?

wth? not for anything, but how did you get serialized within a week of ordering, at code 16?
there's people, including me, that have been waiting for months. this just makes no sense to me. doesn't matter now because i cancelled my 05 and ordered an 06 but still...

I ordered on 5/9. Still pretty quick, I know, but my dealer is one of the larger ones in their 20 group....

Once you are serialized you have a VIN and the car WILL get scheduled and produced. The priority codes are within dealer, so even if it was a priority 40 as long as the dealer had allocation and commodities were not a problem and there were no lower priorities in front of him, the order get's pulled. Congratz on getting serialized - won't be long now... My last mustang was a 68 fastback. I miss her, but having the 05 is sweet.
