That makes sense. I seems like it would be hard to tell if there is preload. How can you tell if there is tension on it? Will the joints be angled?

It's not hard to tell, when it's free the link becomes very, very easy to turn. Either side of that you will feel tension as you start to twist the swaybar again.

You just square the rod-ends up when you are done. I send complete instructions with my endlinks.

With one link installed and torqued down where you want it, you adjust the other link so the bolt holes line up with the mounting hole you want to use in the sway bar. If you have to force the bar up or down to get the hardware to fit, then you're putting some preload on it.

Cool, thanks guys. I plan on getting some before spring. I have an interview this weekend for a part time job on nights and weekends to be able to afford parts.
