New GT Arriving Next Week
I'm a believer in learning from past experience and respect the opinions on this Forum. I would like to pick it up with plastic covering still on seats. Anything else I should request of PDI? Thanks for all responses!

What is covered cannot be inspected. Take 15 - 20 minutes to inspect the car in all areas to make sure there is no physical damage, gaps match, and any item that opens, closes or turns something on and off functions properly.
Karpro found a checklist and posted a link a while back that I used (kinda). I searched for 'Checklist' and found it.

Edit: PS: Front Lic plate - Their gona drill holes in your baby unless you stop em and find another way to mount it...

make sure it has gas in it, I didn't and almost ran out on the way home.
Just let them wash it and unwrap the seats. Then Zaino or use the high grade Meguiars when you get home. Don't let them put the crap wax on it.

Rail dust, which will be hard to see on your black 2006, but you should feel it when you run your hand lightly over the painted finish on the hood, top or trunk. You could see it on my Windveil Blue 2005 GT, looked like tiny black dots and streaks, all over the car.
The dealer will remove it under warranty with clay bar and a good wax.

I think by the time mine arrives everyone at the dealership should know that I want to put the front plate on. I use Meguiars on all my other cars. I've been telling them they can check it and wash it, (we'll see if they listen).

Wow we've never sold a car without a full tank.
Just check for any DAMAGE, any defect would be covered under warranty. Physical damage is pretty much going to be 'your fault' after you've had the car for several days.

Can anyone tell me mounting options for the front license plate without drilling holes? Our dealer insists on drilling and we're trying to figure something else out before they brandish the power tools.
