New Flame Job Pics, your thoughts?

I posted this on another forums but I would like to share with everyone here as well.
Well I started out getting my valve covers painted with a flat black and a single flame. Not liking the old school look I had the repainted with real fire flames. The look is growing on me more and more.

I would have liked them to be a dark a closer match to my VB car, but as my wife pointed out you would not have been able to see the flame job if that would have been the case.

Here are some pics. I just finished this mod last night and I hope to possibly get a few better pics today in the sun.

Tell me what you think.

Here are a few before/after shots, I hope to have a few more in some better light today if the weather holds up for me.

Can't beat that. My only recommendation would be for some strut tower caps to finish off that beautiful engine bay.

Edit: nevermind - I see you've got the caps, just not installed in some of the pics.

The first few pix reminded me of "Sea Hunt" with Lloyd Bridges but the last pix really captured the effect you're going for. It probably looks even cooler the photos can depict.

Well thanks for all the complements. I got to take a few pictures in overcast today after work. I may take my Mid West Fuel rail covers off since my valves are now painted. I still think they hide the wiring harness nicely.

Here are my day time pics.

That's why I want them, to hide all the wiring, I think they compliment the valve covers fantastically

I'm sure Paris meant that in a good way.
