I just talked to one of the senior members of Team Mustang regarding the availability of IUP and MyColor. Here's the scoop, straight from the horse's mouth, as of 3:20 PM Jan. 19:
  • Ford underestimated demand of IUP to be 20-30%. The actual take rate is closer to 80%.
  • They are at AAI now installing new capacity. It will be at the new full capacity within the model year.
  • Ford believes they have no liability in the MyColor case with Mr. Weyer, and they are continuing to produce 2005 Mustangs with IUP and MyColor.
  • 2005 Mustangs ordered with IUP and MyColor are being produced as we speak.

The serial number (also known as VIN number) has been generated

It is the number that is on your ownership. It also means your car is soon to be built.

How to figure out backspacing-

take width of rim divide by 2.
convert offset to inches
add into half

ie)
9/2=4.5
45mm - 1.77 in.
4.5+1.77= 6.27 backspacing
