Big bloody job, just for some disco lighting in your beverage holder. If your vision is so impaired that you can't find the cupholders at night, you really have no business driving a motor vehicle.

As many have said, wouldn't a light in the glove box make more sense - and be cheaper for Ford to install to boot?

Gimmicks > practicality these days, I guess.

 

Looks like it will have its own module to operate the feature, that might be a pain in the neck to retrofit. I like the idea though. I hope its easier to retrofit than the shop manual is suggesting.

 

It may look difficult, but I am sure that we can tweak it to work if we want to.

 

I believe I now have all the Components Needed to Start the Testing Phase! Now all I need is the Time!
