where has it been said anywhere that the Focus color changing mood lights are going to be in a Mustang The interior lighting package with the additional 'normal' interior lights makes sense. I thought we were past the neon stuff back in '95

It does not say it is neon, but, I doubt they would call regular footwell lighting mood lighting without some color ability.

I would like to see gas shocks for the hood instead of the old prop rod. True, it's a very minor detail, but why not.

And while we're at it, maybe automatic headlights and windshield wipers.

yeah, I'd like to see automatic headlights! My explorer had that, and it was hard to get used to turning them off in the mustang! I also miss my auto-dimming rearview mirror, but that is an easy fix. I wouldn't trade in my new baby for anything! (at least not right now!)

You don't need an auto dimming mirror. With a black headliner just leave it in the 'night' position, you can see fine in the day or night with it just left there. Cops can not see your eyes in it in traffic either.

Just to let you all know that the 2007 Focus has just been available since Feb. with the ambient lighting package and my dealer has just received one and I can tell you that it looks great inside. There are 7 led lights in the floor console. One focused to each footwell and to each cup holder. There is 8 colours that you can select from a console mounted switch.

I don't see that as an option for the 07 Focus, just the 08. My gf is getting a new 07 tomorrow, wasn't offered for hers.
I'm glad, I would be jealous, lol.

As I said this option only became available in Feb 07 if hers was ordered prior to that she was out of luck. If ordered later than Feb 5 07 blame dealer for not offering this option for her. It is not available on all series and not available with cars with traction control.
