Haven't gotten a great answer
I have a problem, that I have also seen that several others can have as well. 2005 mustang gt with JLT CAI and Bama tune. I have the two codes 171 and 174 that say I am running lean. I have taken the tune off, and reinstalled, and even switched between race and performance tune. I also checked if the CAI was loose, and I tightened it back up. My car seems to be sluggish, it feels like it is going to break down. When I shift to second gear, it feels like the gas is being cut off, and it takes it a moment to get going. My engine seems to not rattle but almost make that sound, like something is broken. Several times when putting it in neutral, my car has died on me on the middle of the road. Other times, the RPMs will bounce from 200 to 1,000. I just need to know what to do. Sorry for the long post if anyone even reads it. I just wanted you to know what is truly happening, and what I tried so far. College student with basically no budget, so when I go for the fix, I'd like to try and do it in one shot. Please help

First things first...don't post the same thread multiple times.
How long have you had the tune/intake, and how long has the problem been happening? Have you already contacted AM?

Have you contacted Bama? Perhaps the tune file is corrupted. Also, I have read that O2 sensors can fail. Perhaps that is giving erroneous readings.
Have you cleaned the throttle body and the MAF with their appropriate cleaners lately?

Going down the list in my mind, it could be an injector getting weak but with getting both 171 & 174 (I assume that means both banks) it would appear to be something that feeds both banks.
So it could be that your fuel pump is getting weak or the fuel filter is plugging. (By your description I have had issues like that with a dirty fuel filter. Before the government mandated 10% ethanol year round, they used to change for winter to offset an inversion problem in the valley. Every fall, may cars would have fuel filters plug because ethanol works as a solvent and would loosen the junk in the tank.)
And a dirty MAF could also cause the issue. Or did you by chance not hook it up correctly after checking the intake tube? I have read about that from some posts.
Any leaks around the intake tube? Vacuum leaks?
