Need Opinions: Are these gaps between IUP dash and dashlip normal?

I don't recall my 2005 having gaps like this? Maybe its a Dark IUP issue?

I have an appointment with my Dealership Monday for them to look at the rear bumper which doesn't seem to be on right, maybe this is something else for them to look at.

Ive noticed the exterior trim piece on the roof above each door is loose as well.

Maybe car was built on a Friday?

If you notice you can't really adjust the gap since the I.U.P. dash pieces have holes for the ac vents. I have not really inspected mine in that corner but my guess is that it's normal.

Could you check and see?

Its hard to see in the picture but the gap reveals the seemingly hallow space behind the IUP pieces. Ive owned a 2005 since late 2004 I don't recall seeing such a gap before.

My 2005 interior was dark charcoal so it might have been there just didn't stand out.

Perhaps the cabin is not square? Might have to get it put into a cabin alignment jig.

-Just Kidding.. Its normal.

Maybe its a temperature thing ? like when you get in the car it's cold as you drive along it creaks but after you get it nice and toasty inside its very very quite.

What do you think this is? A Bentley with a hand carved wood dash?

I looked at mine, it's normal. I have the black interior so it just doesn't stand out, also a 2004 built car. If you have the padded dash it would stand to reason there would be less gap...because it's padded and may actually be why a gap was there in the first place to accomodate the thicker dash option if it ever made production.
