they dont have an online store? You have to email for even just a price query on a regular set (nothing custom) .. Seems a bit odd?

I plan to replace rotors and brakes on my 06 GT. The front rotors still look to be in good shape but the back is starting to show signs of wear.

I looked at the AM offering (Power Stop) and the price seems good for a kit (I don't want to just replace the rear--it makes more sense to err on the side of caution and go with four new rotors. If the back are worn, the front can't be too far behind.)

The GT kit seems to be the same dimensions as the stock GT rotors. And I like the idea of ceramic pads. (If for no other reason than reduced brake dust.) Nine years and 98,000 mile--I think, since I'm doing the rotors I'll have the lines done at the same time (that way I am good for another nine years and 98,000 miles!)

The Boss upgrade kit for brake lines seems to be a good deal, but I thought I had read that the lines were specific to the Brembo package--has anyone used these lines on the stock GT brakes?

old topic I know...
Looking for some info.

What do you all think of the Brembo brand?
What is CENTRIC? is that an american thing?
what about ACDELCO?

I need new brakes so I bought HPS 5.0 and the Russell Brake Hydraulic Hose Kit.
Looking for rotors now.. AM is out of the question due to there ridiculous shipping prices to Canada.

Check rockauto.com - Joe just got the PowerStop kit from them. They ship to Canada and even list their prices in CAD.

I agree with Rock Auto, just cross check part numbers before you buy. Sometimes they have parts miss listed as fitting on there website. It happened to me, but they made good on it. Great customer service.

Centric makes good replacement rotors. It's what I am running on the rear right now.

I always buy Centric rotors. Reasonable and high quality. As for pads, I really like Akebono Pro Act pads. You can get both of these from Rock Auto.

+1 to Rotorpros. Got mine in 2008 (crossdrilled/slotted) and they are still going strong!!!

Rotorpros are legit! Seems like a small operation but they do quality work. I'm a happy customer.

I have OEM brake pads and the Rotorpros rotors, minimal dust, no squeaking, and the car stops good. Of course, I don't track my 'Stang, so OEM meets my DD needs!
