Need help with side markers!!!

Trying to install the smoked out rear side markers on the 2005 Stang.
I have the 194 Red LED bulbs that I ordered with the kit.
This is where it gets weird:

If I leave a stock bulb in one side and put an LED in the other side,
both lights work.
If I put an LED in each side, when I turn the lights on they go on and off
in 1 sec. and then they stay off. I have tried putting the LED in both ways ( turning them around).
This is driving me nuts and I did a search, it seams no one else is having this problem.

I even bought a new set of the Red LED 194s

Hmm, Sounds like maybe the SJB isn't seeing a load and therefore turning off the power to the rear markers. I have a set of vleds in mine and they work fine. Also, depending on how many led's you have, you may want to put the cover on and see how the light is refracted afterwards. I have like 9 led's and it shows up as a bunch of small lights instead of a nice evenly distributed light source

Each bulb has 4 LEDs on them.

Is there a fix for this?

Why would this not work on our Stang but it works fine on others
with the same setup?

First off, I'm no expert here, so I don't want you to go out and spend alot of money because of me.

However, I think it works with one filament bulb and one led b/c the sjb sees the load from the resistance of the filament bulb. When you have the led's installed, the sjb isn't sensing a load and shutting off power, You could try this:

http://www.v-leds.com/BlinkerWarning...79822-1-3.html

Although after reading, does not state your problem

They apparently they do not sell my led's anymore, b/c I was trying to see if they were different. I know the circuit had diodes, but i don't remember resistors.

This is just crazy isn't it?

I am going to try and find the stock bulbs, but in red instead of clear.
Do they make those?

I found these http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web..._A|GRP2044____

Do you think that will solve the problem? Not as cool as LEDs but maybe they would work?

FWIW I have a 4 or 6 cluster 194 LED in each of my rear markers. At first one stayed on, the other didnt, then I took out the one that wasnt working and turned it around. Everythings fine now. Good luck

Got a set of the stock bulbs that are red. They work fine.
The LEDs would have been better, but I guess the Stang doesn't like them LOL.

Thank you for everyone's help
