My rides down

I have 2005 GT just shut down while driving. Wont start now Im thinking fuel pump need instructions on how to change it myself.

Cel? Does it spin over? What where you doing while you were driving and it died? Details details details...

I can't personally help you (other than telling you its going to be a tad of work), but I would say two things: Introduce yourself in the Introductions section (welcome to TMS!), and If you are going to do any level of work on your car, get a shop manual - it is the proverbial Bible for your car, and I don't mean one of those Haynes books (if they make them anymore). It will pay for itself many times over if you keep your wheels for an extended period of time.

I had to do this to my 2005 once, when it wouldn't start after parking it at a car show...easy fix.

I would verify pump failure first that's for sure.
Have not done one myself, but hear they are easier than most since they are accessible just by removing the rear seat

You could check the fuse for the fuel pump also
