I HAD masculine..And I drove it on occasion....
But it had to die for Eleanor to be born.
I wouldn't consider her to be a "chick car" either. and YES I am totally girly, I hate getting dirty or rained on or to be seen outside of my house without being dressed up with full makeup.

Are you that 50 year old on the Bow Flex ad that says she is a grandmother?
Nope, I'm older than her, never had kids so I'm not a grandma and I workout at Gold's. Can't be me!
Markski74, what you said..."Regular exercise, a healthy diet and a Mustang is the real fountain of youth despite what Madison Ave. would like us to think."

i have to disagree, its a classic car. reminds me more of james bond than anything else. now if only there were sidewinder missles that came out of the grill...
speaking of which, has anyone else been seeing a LOT more thunderbirds roaming the street since the announcement was made that this was the last year they would be produced? I know i've seen them everywhere nowadays. eh, could also be the spring weather...?
We traded in our 1998 New Beetle for the Mustang, which makes us official Jay Mays junkies. Mine was red, and very fixed up (3rd in modified stock at the National New Beetle show in Roswell, NM) and wicked quick. In the New Beetle's defense, there are amazing things that can be done with those cars. I loved the fact that the car looked one way, but performed another. We bought a V6 Mustang for much the same reason. Sleeper V6 looks, but no one needs to know what you have under the hood. Maybe a supercharger is in the future for us? Who knows, but it doesn't need to scream "I'm faster than you" in my opinion. Plus, hubby is 6'2" and had more room in the front of the bug than in the front of the Mustang. I like the beefy stance of the Mustang, but I also enjoy my turbo Jetta GLi's quickness and euro refinement.

So if i drive both a
as well as a v6 version of this
.....
does this make me semi - masculine and feminine at the same time?
edit: I use the vase in my car to hold pens, moved up from the pocket protector :geek:
I'd get some flowers for it if I could find some nice daisys that matched the black white and orange color scheme

I see that car every time I go to work, lol.
The mustang is an Asexual car. somewhat like a Tiger
If youre in the wild and you see a tiger, odds are that you wont know its gender, but have a pretty good notion of "don't mess with it."

Good topic. I think about this a lot. I wanted a Mazda 6 but I noticed 90% of the people driving them were women. Which is fine, but I wanted a "man's" car, LOL. Now I know with confidence that this GT is a man's car.

I know it's a great car, I was planning on getting a Mazda 6 regardless, but than I saw the Mustang GT. If the price of oil goes up over $60.00 a barrel, I just may get the Mazda 6 in a 4 cylinder. 24/32 mpg is awesome for a car that size and peppy for a 4 cylinder too, sure would be an upgrade over what I have now. Mazda 6's are great cars, this AAI factory is going to have security for a long time, which suits me fine as I live a block away, no worries about blight or "rust belt" around these parts.
