Ok, so I went by my second home today....MY FORD DEALERSHIP, to get my status and whatnot. The guy i have been dealing with wasnt there, so i went to the manager and we started talking, and he is actually really excited for my car to come in, he knows about it and everything. So I asked him to pull up my order, and it says that the dealer ETA is 9/23/04...and we ALL know that they werent even shipped till last Friday, so obviously i took it with a grain of salt.

The next thing that he told me was that someone at the dealership there, (not him) could track the rail car that it was on. I have no clue what this means, but I am going to call in tomorrow and see what I can get done. I will update you guys whenever i get information.

I guess they can track the cars while being delivered just like what UPS does. Let us know the approx date it'll be at your dealer. Good luck.

i saw somewhere maybe when i was building my car online that for some reason the side airbags werent compatible with the int uprgrade package but i dunno if it is a fact

This is all so true, because every time i get off the freeway, i crane my head and look for any kind of sign of new mustangs....and I am just amazed that i havent caused an accident yet!

I have come to the conclusion that the day the truck pulls up with them and he puts them in the parking lot will be the actuall delivery date Just a hunch though. I gave up checking to see 'status' reports weeks ago. You get a different answer every day.
