Awesome I too think black for the coil cover would be best but would be nice if there was a choice for either, keep us update

Looks very nice. Not as good looking as the V8 cover, but will surely make the engine bay look alot cleaner. Can't wait till you guys start producing these puppies.

Very nice! I also vote for black on the coil cover. The plenum cover looks good as its own element, if the coil cover were the same color it would make the plenum cover look unbalanced.

Midwest contacted me today stating it will be a couple of weeks for pricing and getting the group buy together.

Not a problem... my cars not going anywhere. Need to wait for a couple paychecks anyways.

Looks like they updated their site http://www.midwestautogear.com/05_V6_Cover.htm
Hopefully we will hear back soon on a group buy like they did for the V8's. Can't wait to see it on my car. :bang:

Is that one of the setups you can aquire, or did someone just stick an oval on the front? Between that and the running horse, I'd have a hard time picking which looks best. Stunning though. It definately polishes off the engine bay... adds that extra litte touch that's so badly needed.

Are all of the models going to be fiberglass, or will there be stamped metal versions? I can't decipher the posts....

The way I read their website, it is plastic (very good plastic) and it will be available with either the 4.0 logo or plain (which would allow you to put the Blue Oval on)

The V6 cover will be made from the same material as the GT cover which is a glass and mineral filled Nylon. This material is the same as what the intake plenums on the V6 and the V8 are molded from. Also on the V6, the valve covers are molded from this material. It is a great material for high heat applications.

Is it as wide as the GT cover? Because if not, some of the ideas I found on the GT covers would not work, which would really stink...

It is 1/4" narrower than the GT cover. The GT cover is 9-1/2" wide and the V6 Cover is 9-1/4" wide. The GT cover is narrower at the front though because it narrows down where the V6 covers does not, so you might actually have more room.
