[FONT=Courier][SIZE=7][COLOR=#0000FF] Picked her up today after a 3 week ordeal with the dealer. Was trucked in from Arkansas to Omaha. 65 miles on the odometer when I drove it off the lot.

Sonic Blue GT w/Automatic, Shaker 500, IUP with My Color, Spoiler Delete (not my choice but I'm surprised how much I am glad I don't have it now), side air bags, Active Anti-Theft.

Went straight from the Dealer to the tire store to put on the Dunlop M3 winter tires. Wanted the Bullits but took the upgraded wheels, they'll be my winter wheels. Looking for something like Cragar SS's for summer.

Tuesday have appointment for 20% tint all around and silver stripes, will post updated pics when I get them.

BTW, so far all my mp3 disks work fine with the shaker, keeping my fingers crossed.
Hi Chris,
Hey what type stripe are you putting on paint or 3m type?
How wide are you going with the stripe?
Thanks,Boog

Hey Silverbullit (Ron),

I have to ask....why is yours at the paint shop????? Just Nosey!!!!!!
Hi Cheri,

You could probably go back a few posts, however, it's just as easy to fill in the blanks.

We picked our 05 up on 12/9. It was raining like crazy and for about four days straight we had more rain. The following Wednesday the sun came out in the afternoon. As I was walking to my car when leaving work I noticed some smudges on the roof just above the windshield on the driver's side. I took a better look at them when I got home and became convinced they were below the clearcoat. I stopped at the dealership and talked with the service manager who agreed with me and they took photos, shot them off to Ford and within an hour received the go-ahead to get the top painted.

I should be able to pick the car up next Wednesday. Can't wait, however, something tells me with this SE PA winter I'm not going to get a lot of driving out of the Bullet 'till spring.

Happy New Year!
Ron

A little dark...sorry about that.
Coincidence of course, however, I can see the wheel locks on yours and now know that I have the correct lockers.

Have a wonderful New Year and enjoy your ride.

v6s do look nice w/o spoilers... don't get me wrong... but the GTs have a slight edge because of its body style... and dual exhaust... gives the rear end alot more definition.

First time here, so hope this turns out. This one was built on 14 December, so it's pretty new.

I love it!

Love the 2005 GT. Doing my research on where to buy a GT. Went to my local Ford dealer and they said, "They are really hot, we can't come down on the price at all!" The base MSRP: $25,225. Then I went online and found out Sams Club sells 05' GT's. Built a Premium GT with Black Clearcoat, Dark Charcoal w/Red Interior Color Accent, Shaker 500 (comes with premium package), and a 5 speed. Ford's MSRP for this car was $27,030.00; Sams club's MSRP was 24,800.00. Check it out for yourself. Sams Club Auto

Saw a yellow 05' Stang in a wallmart parking lot today... Had this cooling looking spoiler. Think its called a fin. But anyways I really want want for my Mustang when it comes in. Anyone seen one or know where I can get one? Here is a picture of it:

**CORRECTION to previous post:

The picture of the spoiler is obviously not the 05 GT I saw in the parking lot, but rather of an 04 Cobra. It was the only picture I could find. Please someone help me find this part!

OK, here's a few shots of mine finally! First is the morning after I picked it up. It was very cold that morning, that's why the condensation on the hood and doors.

My 05 GT meets my 94 GT for the first time!

I'm going to spend a couple hours soon and take lots of pictures. I don't have very many right now unfortunately. I may even take some video!
