Guys, I don't mean to throw a monkey wrench in the greatness of all of our cars, but I ran into a very interesting situation the other day while trying to register my car. Ford made a BOO BOO and put two VIN numbers on my car!!! I can not even register my car because the VIN number in my windshield does not match the VIN on my title. Has anyone run across this, and if so, please render your advice. Brad, you may have some insight on this. Thanks!

This is my first post. Thanks to all for your information, especially to Brad for leading the pack. I am expecting my Satin Silver GT "before Thanksgiving". I have been mislead by so many dealers that I have become my current Dealers worst nightmare. I have asked this guy more questions that he's heard in his lifetime of selling cars. Mustang owners certainly are educated. I will post mine as soon as I get my hands on it.

Mine came in yesterday. Tom Clark Ford in Greensburg, PA (Near Pittsburgh). They were great (except trying to rip me off for the trade-in) . I would definetly go back.
They let me test drive it solo. So when I got to the edge of the parking lot, I gunned it. I ended up fishtailing out of the lot and ripping down the road. When I got back, the sales manager laughed and said: "That is a big grin you have. I saw you leave the lot." He laughed and motioned his hand like a fishtail.
I asked my salesman, why do they charge for gas when the gauge says you have 15 miles before you run out. He laughed and gave me a slip for a free tank of gas.

Other pictures of my car on this thread
The gawking started at the dealers lot. A couple was looking at the V6, then my GT pulled around. The husband practically ran over to it, and the wife said someone is a lucky owner. I was behind her, but said, "Yes I am!"
Then at the gas station, a guy stopped to look, and then a few on the road. One Ford truck was racing up to me, so I jumped over so he could pass. He slowed down to keep pace with me. Then he rev-ed his engine and wave, and turned left.

Love all the photos, and would love to show more detail than I currently can.
How are people posting larger photos? When I post it says the largest attachment I can put on is 200kbytes. I have a pro-grade camera that can really show my baby off.
