Mustangdan yeah I figure thats right, the 71 - 73 were so dang big the hood reminds me of an aircraft carier flightdeck! I can never figure why Ford had to blimp thoses cars up so dang hugh thoses years but then that was the "70"s for you. Anytime I seee them , I just dont feel they look like Mustang, but thats just my opinion any 71-73 owners out there. Im just biased I guess, to me a real mustang has the headlights outside the grill as in 64 1/2 - 69 like our 05s do. I think the headlights outside the grill like the 68-69-05 is what gives the Mustang it's unique look.
