Magnetic Oil Drain Plug
I see where Moss has started offering a magnetic drain plug for the 05-09 Mustang. I believe it is $12+ , is this worthwhile anybody have any experience with these.

parts of the engine are Iron based but most of it is alum, magnet will not work on that, just change the oil filter with every change to keep unwanted things like that out.
to help clean out any shavings I changed my oil and filter at 500 and 1000 miles. After that every 3000.

Should be able to find one for $3 to $4. But I don't see much on mine with frequent oil changes (around or under 3000 miles) and a total of just a hair over 30K total.

I have had oil analysis since birth of my 06 Mustang GT and never saw an issue with wear metals. There is some copper for the first 5000 miles and then it seems to go away, so that is attributed to some break-in.
I use the Motorcraft factory fill and do it every 5K. No issues.
