What is a mafia? Besides the Italian kind?

My experience is that depending on the tune you may not need the Mafia unless you're running alot of boost. My Vortech is at around 11psi and I don't need the Mafia; in fact I bought it but don't need it and probably will be selling it.

The Mafia is supposed to be a plug and play, without having to do any soldering. Since the ProCharger is a blow thru maf it is suggested to use the the Mafia. When I first installed my Procharger I did not have a Mafia and I was OK with its performance but knew that there was more in there. I then decided to get a tune from VMP Tuning and with his tune he says it has to use a Mafia. Well, needless to say the performance is like night and day. I'm sure that most of it came from the tune itself but I am sure that without the Mafia he couldn't have got it dialed in this well.

I use one also but simply as a MAF extension harness so I didn't have to cut and solder any wires. Although I will say that my tuner didn't even need the MAFia.
