Was checking out Mac Performance hoping to get some information about the possibility of them offering cold air induction kits for the 2005 Mustang.

They have two contact emails on their website and a form which formmails info@macperformance.com

Every email is answered with a auto response

"Thank You for Your Request. This is an automated response..... we will answer your request soon."

Both email contacts return errors.

User mailbox exceeds allowed message count: info@macperformance.com
550 unknown user <webmaster@macperformance.com>

Anyone know if Mac is planning on offering a cold air induction kit for the 05 stangs? If they are not, anyone know who might?

I don't like calling people for trivial information. Was hoping a company such as them would be more Internet savy and have email addresses that actually work.

I agree about Mac. B&M doesn't have an email and they even wrote out a letter as to why. BBK doesn't but they have on their site that a throttle body has been made. Roush's system is messed up also.

I am a mac dealer so I will explain there e-mail deal...

Mac was getting POUNDED with spam and virus e-mails. Only about a month ago everybody in the company got a new e-mail address. What would happen is SO MANY spams would hit the box would fill in one night. Sounds like the web e-mail address was full when you tried or they did not update it with a new address.

To answer your question....

Mac did not have an 05 before they were in the publics hands. Mac typically pulls a car in from a dealership or customer and fits the new parts. They are super fast about getting the parts to the public once they are fit.

As of 4 weeks ago they did not have a car. I will check Monday if they have one in yet.

If you have any questions feel free to e mail me at racer@mchsi.com

Hope that answers your question.

Excuses aside, there is no such thing as "internet business", there is just business. Either companies learn how to do business (including the internet), or I fear for their future -- which reduces the chance that I will buy from them (as I don't expect them to be around long). Stuff like, "we're being hit with spam" seem a little lame -- there are spam filters, or you pay for bigger boxes and check more often, but in the end you either do business, or you don't. They haven't yet adapted to the changes in business, and if they don't soon, it will obviate them.

(Spoken like Director of Internet for a media conglomerate? I just have problems educating companies and people to these issues. I don't want lame excuses -- you either do business, or you don't.)
