Lowblu's Vapor GT
Just bought an 08 vapor GT and wanted to share some photos with you all. It is my second car. I traded in my 2000 atlantic blue v6 mustang that I got when i was 16.
Its goodbye thread is here https://themustangsource.com/f693/go...4/#post6069605
It was sad to let it go, but after having the GT for a couple weeks I am over it (300hp > 200hp). Love the car, and already have a mod list growing. Enjoy the pics.

I love the GT500 spoiler it came with, and it came with some still unidentified aftermarket mufflers. They sound pretty good but drone at about 1500 rpm which is bad at 50-60 mph in 5th gear. But other than that I am really liking the car. It is even getting the same or better mpg than I was getting in the old v6.
One thing that is going to have to be changed is the shifter. I had an MGW short throw on oldblu and I am missing it.
One thing I didn't think i was going to like is the wheels. I thought the first mod was going to have to be wheels, because I have never been a huge fan of the fan blade design but with the dark charcoal inserts it works really well with the vapor color.
My first performance mod will either be tuner/cai or springs and shocks? Suspension was what I tackled first on my other car, so I think I would like to do that again. Although this platform already handles much better stock than I expected.

Let the Modding Begin!!!!
Recently installed a new set of wheels and tires, steeda springs and GT500 strut mounts. I have really been enjoying the tighter handling. (I have been missing this quality from my last mustang) And so far I love the Nitto Invos.

And thanks to American Muscle for quick shipping and the forum discount. Also, I was a little worried about the wheels and tires being balanced right, but they were balanced perfect.

Thanks guys.
I'm looking to sell my other wheels. Tires are basically gone, but I do have the lugs and tpm sensors still. Do ya'll think asking for four and hoping for three is to much?
