low oil pressure?

went to start my car today (drove it to work with no problem, sat in the lot for approx 7 hours) and i got a LOW OIL PRESSURE warning. i immediately shut it off, checked the oil (which was exactly where it should be) and turned it back on. same thing. i then retuned it with my sct2 tuner (93 oct tune from brenspeed) and that did the trick. anyone have any idea of what could have caused this? i recently had the oil changed about 2 weeks ago...dont think that would have caused a problem though.

Maybe the oil pressure switch is going bad?

When my drivers side head went bad on my 07 gt the only thing that the motor would pick up was a low oil pressure reading. This was caused but a blockage that fried everything on the drivers side of my motor

just running through the troubleshooting list in the haynes manual:
1) improper grade of oil
2) oil pump worn or damaged
3) engine overheating
4) clogged oil filter
5) clogged oil strainer
6) oil pressure gauge not working properly

not sure why re-loading the same tune would make the message go away.

i always get that LOW OIL PRESSURE message for a few seconds if my car has been sitting a while, but then again, i have a oil filter relocation kit.
