It will be several months, maybe even a year, before I buy my GT, but I really appreciate the comments about the San Diego dealerships, Mossy and Drew (although I must add, the Drew service department ripped off my wife).

For what it's worth, El Cajon Ford did not impress me. Their Mustang "expert" wasn't.

Ask for David Aganon. Tell him you have AAA and would like to order an '05 GT at AAA pricing.

See my sig, he hooked me up.

Dublin Ford is the closest to me. I gave them 2 chances to sell me a car. First was over the phone, they said they weren't taking orders for '05 Mustangs (this was 7/22/04). Next was a visit, and they had no interest in me. There was hardly anyone there other than a bunch of salespeople and myself. The one who I did talk to didn't care one bit about me once I said "05".

It's a dead giveaway when you drive into a Ford dealership in a Ford and one of the salesmen is driving away in his BMW, that something is wrong in Dublin. If he's going to drive a bimmer, he should park it in the back and not let himself be seen in it.

Go to Galpin. My salesman was excellent and has been giving me weekly updates since late July. I went down on a Sunday afternoon, to see what I needed to get on "the list". The salesman was even nice enough to buy me a coffee at the onsite Starbucks, and let me drive a couple of the supercharged Jaguars. It has been a great experience so far.
