Yeah, I know. I was just giving another option. And if you see, I did say that I was not too sure about them. Main reason is because it reminds me of Uncle Bens Eclipse!

TOO expensive and HAS to be painted to match your car. Can't have this chunk of aluminum unpainted - we drive Mustangs, not civics or eclipses.

Just asking guys, for what reason some of you want a locking gas cap for? Are you concerned someone may place something in your fuel tank? Then you would like the lock. Otherwise I would find it a pain each time at the pump.
As far as gas thief the tank is anti-siphon. The tank on my 98 is anti-siphon, I know for fact because it’s in Lidio's for a fuel pump replacement. The tank was filled when the pump failed. With only 1/2 gallon used the tank must be dropped full of fuel. There is no way they know of to remove any fuel.
A roll over is also the reason for the above. It is that built in so fuel does not leak through the cap on the neck of the tank. Its similar to a ping pong ball and is a backflow preventor.

I'd rather have one of these (I'll take my chances with wandering idiots): InStant Fill Cap
so I guess the Bullit looks like a Civic??? I don't think so... besides, if you have chrome wheels, why wouldn't the chromed one look good? why does it have to be painted the same color as the car?

Apparently the mechanics didnt know to pull the pump from under the seat.
That new Stant cap is definitely cool, I wouldnt call it lazy at all. Its just a "modern convenience".
