TRL (the robot lady!) had me scarred this weekend. I called in twice and both times I got the "sorry, I can't help you on this car" message. Strange. I had been scheduled for a March 7th build week...

Well, I finally called in again Monday afternoon and got a good (but rather strange) message! "As of March 11th, you are locked in for production for the week of March 7th" (or something very close to that!). "As of March 11th"????? Ok. I assume this does NOT mean my car will be build on Friday, it's just the way the system is set up. I hope. Personally, I want a Wednesday build date! They are over the weekend handovers, they have recovered the issues for Tuesday, but they are not getting into the weekend yet, so they can concentrate on MY car!

 

Sorry....build week is 7th, date is on Friday the 11th.
They probably will finish it up on Monday. Your screwed.

 

Bob is right, you likely have a car that will be finished on the 11th or maybe run into Monday the 14th. This has been discussed here before, robots don't get distracted on Friday thinking about the weekend and very few of them drink enough to have hangovers on Monday. B)

BTW, I have a Wednesday build date but it hasn't worked out for me yet, still sittin at the ramp!

 

Oh well. Given my history with this dealer, I doubt I'll have any issues with getting anything resolved, if it needs it. Just as long as we get that rail car issue straightened out this week...
