I looked in search section and could not find this thread so please don't flame me for being dumb just redirect me.
I am a computer novice and have gone to FMC site looking for Mustangs inventory and it ask for a zip code. How do I get around this and do a nation wide or regionel search?

You could go to USPS web site and pull up the zip codes in the areas you want to search.

Mongoose,
I was looking to do a similar vehicle search. Currently, none exists. There was a thread a few days ago where one of the webmasters of forddirect.com chimed in and said they were thinking about implementing this kind of search in the future. I guess were're SOL until then.

If you go to Ford.com and do a 2005 Mustang search on a zip code you can look at dealer inventories but the problem with that is it doesn't reflect what that dealer really has on the lot.It shows cars tat are on order, being built,on the way to the dealer and cars already gone.some of the dealers in my zip say they have 36 Mustangs but only have 3 or 4 on their lot so you can't trust the numbers.

I've found that it is better to do a "locate a dealer" search than an inventory search. You get lots of dealers, but you have to go look at each dealer's inventory. When I type in my zip code, it gives my over 50 dealers out to about 85 miles.
