i would hold off on buying aftermarket engine covers....at least until the 06's are out....

The 06's are out, though I don't recall seing any pics of the engine yet.

Are they coming stock with a cover?

and at this point in time, who knows if it is even going to be included with the car or if it will be an accessory. I'm sure you will have to buy one, just like a chrome exhaust tip.

I read that this one will be available August 8th 2006. The part # is a 7R3Z-6A949-AA, there is no price as of yet.

Why wait 8 months for a ($200 by my estimate) cover from Ford when you can get one now from Midwest Auto Gear for less?

I can see waiting for a car that long but not a cover for the engine.

I agree that FORD really missed the boat on this one. I say go with Midwest Auto Gear...you will not be disappointed.

eh, I was wrong. Ford isnt going to weiner us on price... I still dont want to wait though and I dont want that pony emblem under hood either.
