Quarterhorse: It really fits very snugly. Redline offers a lot of different color combinations for about $80 as I remember. The foam stripping is just a few dollars. You could cut a 1" thick piece of foam and stetch the armest cover over it as well. Pretty easy and comfortable mod.

How about finding out where the seat material comes from and order some in and get it stiched up for yourself ?
I know a older fella who always buys lincolns every 2 years or so and gets a few yards of the cloth seat material and has it stiched into a suit so he could match the interior of the car .Nothing like a mustang center armrest , matching pants and jacket to boot...lol.

Plus if anyone does this get a pic ..I'd love to see this

It says also available w/GT logo but there is nothing that lets you choose the GT logo one. Scott Drake site says it's available in April.

Here is my armrest I got at the same time as the adjustable headrests. They are made by TMI. I bought them from Laurel Mountain Mustang.

I just called Passion Automotive, since they're here in Las Vegas. Turns out we're both in the same Mustang Club, and there's a meeting tonight that we'll both be at. He's going to bring a couple samples for me to check out. I've been wanting to change the shift boot forever, and the padded armrest would be nice too, although I'm not sure I like the (pleats?seams?) sewing on top.

I'll let you know what I think of them tomorrow.

The headrests are the same. They just look different cuz of the tilt. I like the idea of adjustable, just not crazy about the shape of those. If they were the shape of stockers, that would rock

They actually are exactly the same shape as the factory ones. I just have the head rest wraps on them and the angle of the tilt makes them look different. This picture shows one all the way up and one all the way down. My wife complained all the time about the factory ones messing up her hair. They were kind of expensive, but it kept her quite.

I met with Dean from Passion Automotive last night, and he's got some nice products. The reason the boot is so expensive is because instead of just shipping the leather, he buys a stock boot from Ford and uses the frame from it. I guess it's not that easy to get the boot mounted properly, so he figures he'll do it himself and guarantee that it's done right. He's been doing leather for Corvettes for years, and just recently moved over to Mustangs. The console covers can be made in lots of different combinations, too. He had a red one that had the same vinyl (with the diamond shaped holes) as the seats on top, and smooth non-perforated on the sides. It would match the seats great. He can also do non-perforated leather in the middle, combine colors, different patterns (to match Roush seats, for instance) etc.

I'm thinking of getting the shift boot and console lid cover, just don't know if I want parchment to matcht the seats or to stick with black.
