Ok, Today I ordered a Fully Loaded 06 Mustang GT (Black w/ICAP) and they asked what wheels I wanted and I said the bullitts, and the dealer said that the Bullitts were late availability. I asked him if my order would get bumped if I ordered the bullitts and he said "YES" :bang: so I said i would take the fanblades. Would I really get bumped, if so I don't think I want to take the chance. Thoughts? Also, how long do i have to change this option? Right now I am first in line, and I don't want that to change.

I would say that since 06 production doesnt start until August 8th or so you have a little time.

Check the order guides to see if they have anything more specific than "late availability". If they are not available, your order will sit in the order bank until they are regardless of your initial place in line. That's a wonderful term called a "commodity" issue. Keep in mind also that if demand for the '06 is any where near the '05, allocation takes place by REGION first, then DEALERS second. Be careful to place your order where Mustang sales are traditionally strong. Good luck!

By the way, I believe you can only change options up until the time your car is serialized.

I was told by my dealer that if I went with the Bullitts I wouldn't get my car till after Jan. I went with the fan blades.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one that didn't get bullitts even though I wanted them. I wonder how much they would cost by themselves

In about 4 - 6 months I'll bet you will be able to pick the 17's up on EBAY for about $500.00 a set
