Key modification

Nothing yet. We are waiting to see if the Fusion's key will work on the Stang. I hear you on the VW key. Wife's car is an '01 Jetta GLX, and the key is nice...and I like the seats, too. But, if we had a key like that, it'd be $300 to replace it, just like VW.

There looks to be some negative news on the Fusion key (just go check the thread on the root s197 forum) though I don't know if it can be considered a "for sure" negative until it is tried some more.
I know that I'd be tempted to pay someone $300 for one of those switchblade keys for my Stang.

I read not too long ago about a guy who had his "switchblade" audi key confiscated at the airport. The reason, person at security said it was a "switchblade" style device and therefore a harmful weapon.
At this rate belts and shoelaces can't be far behind.
My wife had a 2000 Jetta that I later inherited when she bought an accord. I liked the ergo's of the Jetta, and loved the key.
