I think it's the small things, combined with everything else which make a car.
I think it would have been nice to see a set up more like the current T-Bird.
Flat against the dash.
Which I also think the 60's model years had...

I agree. The ignition switch is so low on the steering column that the hanging entry remote keeps banging into my knee.

Aren't we always wish'n and hope'n. The Linclon LS also has it in dash. That would have been kool, but its ok where it is for me. At least it does not swing around.

its funny how everyone is oversensitive to something they think is 'cool'. Its like all the idiots with HID-defficiency-disorder. Keys on the dash bang bang bang bang all the time.

It would look a LOT more retro on the dash.
I like it there on my '65.
Maybe they'll change it in a few years.

 Wow, I really thought this was a message board...???
I guess I'll remember most of these posts the next time I see a thread I don't care about or think is stupid.
Wow isn't it amazing that after all of this... it should be plainly clear that most of you all are the real whiners.
By the way, when I posted the orignal message did any of you get the feeling I was complaining?
I was making a point... but I bet you have never done that before... right...?
It started out simple enough... to all of you who like to bitc? behind a computer screen, get a life.

Whoa, calm down. Although I agree with you, it's not nice to call people names.

Anyway, I don't mind the position as it's the same on my 325is.

Is it that collective special time of the month today?
I like em both! BUT I don't have a mustang yet and I do have in dash ignition- so I wasn't complaining..
Go drink some beer and watch some ball- the NE game is interesting(not to mention featuring Mmmmmm Tom Brady)
