Go compare prices of the same 1965 Mustang vs. the same model in a 1966. There is no significant difference in the market value of either one.
Unless in 2007 we fall into another autmotive black hole ( like what happened in the 1970s ) and Ford stops making the S197 Mustang and replaces S197 with a 4 cyl, FWD Focus with Mustang badges on it, neither 05 nor 06 Mustangs will be worth squat 10 years from now.
