Is there a trunk release inside the car?

But more seriously. Has any noticed a slight tapping(maybe not the best discription) noise when they let off the gas?

This is no trunk release inside the car... and the (tapping) noise you are hearing, some people have it and some don't. The say it's just the gears breaking in and should go away.

Just press the trunk button on your key fob.

I have not heard the tapping noise....but, I will listen for it tomorrow.

Trunk release was a joke. I hope all it is are the gears breaking in. Doesn't seem right, but that's what warranty is for. Oh and for a 100mile drive at 75-80 I averaged 23.7miles per gallon. Not bad.
