I probably see almost one rental every other day - especially in Waikiki. They're all the same out here - V6 verts with sport packages. The dead giveway are those strips they put on the doors of fleet vehicles to try and minimize door dings.
Doesn't really bother me. No matter how many I see, I love mine, and I enjoy riding it. One or two folks notice sometimes and comment and that's enough for me.

Greal story Phillip.
I had one similar.
We were getting ice cream and two older guys (40's) were looking at my GT.
We were sitting at the picnic table slurping away about 100 feet from where my car was. I yelled over to them to open it up and get in. They both did.
Sat in it for a couple of minutes. Got out and came over and complimentd the car up and down.
I see maybe 1 '05 a week. I live in a small town, but we drive to the city at least twice a week. Not sure where they all are. My kids say they see them around once in a while. Makes me feel special.

not many here in SE michigan---i have seen a black, yellow and redfire vert so far ---no satin silver vert which will be in my driveway next week! woohooo!
