IT'S OFFICAL
Been reading boards since November, the info on this site has been very useful.
Just wanted to let everyone know I ordered last night at Joe Cooper Ford in Tulsa, OK, SONIC BLUE Premium GT. Now I will get to feel your pain until about June when they say my car SHOULD be here. :bang:

Just a suggestion, Stay in close touch and on good grounds with your dealer. Get your VIN# as soon as you can. Once you have that you can call 1-800-392-3673 (Customer Service) They'll set up a file on you and you can track the progress of your car by calling that same number every now and then.
As of this past Friday, mine's waiting in the holding yard about an hour and a half north of here, waiting to be delivered to the dealer. Been 10 weeks today since I ordered.
Not to sound like the bearer of bad news, but I'm doing it for your own interest. Make sure you find out how many allotments the dealer you ordered from has and make sure you are within those allotments so you can get your stang. A lot of people are having problems with their orders and not receiving them because the dealers are not up front with them. Just looking out for your own good. Contact the dealer regularly and tell them not to give you and BS, happened to some people on this board, they'll tell you.

Congrats.
Wondering on the IUP did your dealer tell you if there is a delay on IUP? I am hearing all these rumors and I was wondering if your dealer heard anything or if they even would know?

I look at it like this, if I had $30,000 cash today, I could not go by the GT that I want, so what difference does it really make.
It does look to me that the rumors that you are hearing and we all are reading are not really rumors and people are being turned away after waiting months for the orders they placed in November and December.
Before the 05 mustang came out I had originally intended on buying a 04 or 05 f-150 Crew cab Lariat 4x4 but they are so darn expensive, I guess if my order does not come through I'll buy the truck.
