Intermittent squeak coming from rear suspension on 2006 Mustang GT
History of the car:
Replaced all the Brake pads and rotors on the car back about 2 years ago (about 60K miles), after the passenger side rear pads wore down due to a caliper that was sticking.
Over the past 2 months, I've had an interment squeak coming from the rear of the car. Its been a ***** to reproduce..happens every once in a while driving...going over an expansion joint, sometimes just accelerating, etc....I never get it if its damp or wet out.
My passenger rear pads wore down again after 40-45K miles of driving, so I replaced the caliper on the passenger rear side with a re-manufactured unit and replaced the pads and rotors in the rear. I still get the squeak after this, but its not nearly as bad as it was before.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried some disc brake quiet? I had the same thing but when I changed my pads and rotors at ~50k, I used this stuff and haven't had a problem yet (now at 64k)

Could be a bad upper link bushing, when I swapped in an 8.8 I discovered the stock bushing was ripped on one half, no noise since replacing. since the LCA bushings are similar (a suspended ruber bushing in a bushing essentially) you might check those to.

I still have not figured out the exact source, but what I thought was a suspension squeak is not. I even regreased my lca's etc, come to find out its something in my exhaust and only went the exhaust is hot. go figure
