my premium went down significantly when I went from my 2000 V6 stang to my 2005 GT stang, but I switched to Geico at the same time...so I guess I am a bad example, since my old company was raping me -_-

My insurance is horrible, about 3800/yr. but I have something like 15 points which all disappear when my policy renews in December. From what I am told I should be paying about a third of what I do now. (DUI going away, finally) Then add in the 05 and I should be around 1800-2000 range.

Just be glad you are not in Canada. I have a flawless record and at age 33 I will now fork out $2,088/yr for the GT.
My current 2003 Jeep only costs me $1188.00 a year. Talk about a jump in price. I would have thought the price we be close since SUV's have a high roll-over rate.
I really hate insurance increased. When I bought my 97 GT brand new in 97 I only paid $756.00 /year.

Geeezzzz Louise, it makes me shudder when I think of all the super high $$$ amounts some of you pay to drive. Too bad car insurance isn't the bargain that homeowners is.... BTW, test drove the Redfire V-6 today just for fit and feel. Awesome legroom......and I'm 6'2" I can't wait for my GT to get here!
