I need a new horn!

Its dying a slow, ugly death. My extended warranty(45k miles now) should cover this, correct? I know how dealers like to throw around not covering "use" items like clutches, brakes and such unless its specifically faulty.

Maybe I should just get an air horn.

I appreciate the unnecessary remark?

A simple yes or no would have been sufficient. Though I suppose common sense would tell you that.

I didn't take it that way. I thought he was just saying 'you would hope so'.

That's my feeling as well. I think it would be covered, but you know how dealers sometimes can be with warranty claims. Good luck.

You have to read through the individual warranty contract to know for sure if it is covered.
Some extended warranties have deductibles also.

That's not how I intended that to be taken! What I was meaning(and clearly not conveying lol) was that common sense says it'd be under warranty, but I don't know for sure so I can't give you a definitive answer. Hopefully that clears things up

The thought entered my mind after it was posted, but I thought i'd wait for your response. Text can be difficult to read sometimes for what's actually meant. Since I know it wasn't meant that way, no harm no foul. Now let's just hope my dealer has common sense...
