I haven't called VOPC in 72 hours!

I just checked most recently on Friday morning, as of 2/3 I'm still C/U. I'm confused about the dates that orders get pulled, and when new information based upon status changes becomes available. So rather than look like an idiot to my wife, who makes fun of me every time I say "FORD", "ORDER NUMBER", "2005" etc. into the phone, I figured I'd just call every Friday morning.
But what if I've been pulled and I don't know about it?! Oh the tension is killing me! :bang:
How often does everyone check the status, and is it worthwhile to call often or once per week?

I get the same looks from my wife. I call daily, sometimes I miss a day and I'll realize it at 11:30 at night. I'll get up out of bed and call, thinking it about it keeps me up at night. What can I say.

I called daily last week starting about Wednesday because my salesman said there was a good chance I'd be pulled. The VOPC was always one day behind - but every day it was getting updated. I called on Feb 1, and it said, "as of Jan 31, the status is clean/unscheduled..." Then on Feb 2 it was, "as of Feb 1..." ...
But the last time it seemed to get updated was Feb 3. I just called again tonight, and it still says, "as of Feb 3, the status is clean/unscheduled..."

Once your order is pulled then there are more frequent updates and it is worthwhile to get updates more regularly than once a week.
Until your pulled the status will not change if your c/u until Fridays when Ford does their weekly pull of new scheduled cars.

www.google.com. Not trying to be a jerk, but we can't post that information here. It's dealer only and if I recall, Brad has been specifically asked not to post that info on his site. It's out there, it's not in here.

VOPC stands for Vehicle Order Processing Center, it's supposed to be a dealer-only number and the site owner has requested that it not be posted on his site. There are other sites with the info, search, it's not hard to find.
Edit: Sean, you type faster than me!

My signature says it all. I would call almost daily. Once the order was pulled and serailized (on 1/13), assigned build week of Jan. 31st (on 1/14), there was no change until 1/27 when the message said "As of 2/2, your vehicle is locked in for production and scheduled to be built week of Jan. 31st". Then finally on 2/5 the message said "As of 2/3, your vehicle has been shipped by convoy carrier". My salesman says it should arrive anywhere between 2/12 and 2/17, or possibly sooner.

Holy crap that is a quick turnaround. Yo, wave some of that magic pixie dust my way would you?
Why do I have the feeling that I'll be posting sometime in July asking everyone if it is weird that I still haven't been pulled yet? With my luck, I'll end up with an 06 because my order got "lost". Why didn't I order back in early December when I wanted to? :bang:

I know Ford pulls on Thursday nights but the number doesn't update that quickly on Fridays to reflect Thursday's pulls, actually it just updated tonight from last week's pulls.. "as of 2/4" it now says. I also know that unless my dealer has allocation I won't get pulled at all but regardless of all this I call each night before I go to bed. It's on speed dial on my phone. I have no life.

Ford updated mine the day after. Pulled Thurs night, no news Thurs night, but said it was serialized Fri morning. It's wierd, because at first it said it was serialized as of Feb 3rd and awaiting a build week, but then the next day it gave me my build week and said it was also 'as of Feb 3rd'. (?) So who knows, maybe it changed status mid day Feb 3, but it was updated quickly for me. I don't think anyone knows for sure how it works.

My status was always updated on Tuesday! I would call Thursday night, no change, Friday no change, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, nothing, then on Tuesday morning it would be updated.
It was a Tuesday I got my scheduled to be built, locked into production, shipped via convoy, shipped via rail, arrived at ramp - all on Tuesday. (I never did get bucked ??)
