Thumbs up

Just installed my Ebach pro-kit coils last night,

noticed when tires were off, the right front tire has a plug in the center groove, its a clean looking plug. cut at an angle below tread

tires are stock Pirellis Nero's, other tires ok about 1200mi.

ordered car, dealer called hour it came in, and parked and locked, hid the keys till I got ther 2 hrs later, car has never been out of my possesion

yet to ask dealer bout this, could this have been done before or during production?

any input welcome, thanks

most likely happened during transport from the factory, they just fixed the flat and kept it hush hush. Personally I wouldn't worry about it and your dealer will probably do nothing, but you can try.

Mine came off the truck with a flat. The dealer plugged it so I could drive home. The dealer also ordered a new tire which took about 2 weeks to come in.

I wouldn't want a plugged tire on my new car...

Take it back to the dealer. They plugged it without a doubt and not the factory. If they are honest they will replace the tire with a new one. This will also tell you if you can trust them with the purchase of your next car depending on what they do to fix the problem.

I have always heard they its not 100% safe to drive on a tire thats plugged. Dont know if thats true though.

Good luck!

One of my rims and tires had very slight damage from transport, dealer replaced both.

A patched tire is OK within reason, but a plugged tire is an accident waiting to happen.
