I have an issue. help?

Idk why but whenever my 05 v6 goes through a puddle on a super rainy day I can't turn for a good min or 2. I can its just I have to use so much force to turn the wheel. Is this happening to anyone else?

maybe the belt is slipping on the power steering pump from water splashing up into the engine bay? that's what happened on older cars but haven't experienced that on newer cars.

Defenite belt slip issue. How many miles on your car? If the belt is stock thats a good six years on the belt. Time for a change..
