Ok got my PIN for an X-Plan.

According to my Company's website I now go to the dealership and provide them my number.

My eyes are set on the following...

05 Mustang GT Convertible
Premium
Manuel Trans.
Black w/ Dark Charcoal Int
Shaker 1000
Standard Wheels (Bullit?)

Anything else, anyone can advise on.

But on the basic list above what do you think the est. price is with the X-plan?

Regards,

FV

Talk to your dealership to see if they will even sell you a conv. on X-Plan. If they will, you want to see the invoice to see the X-Plan pricing, make sure you bring you X-Plan paperwork with you. You are not to be charged a D.O.C. fee, some dearlerships have them and some don't. Don't be surprised if they won't sell it on the X-Plan what with how fast GT's are selling and their limited availability.

Ok smack me please. What is DOC fee?

I have heard they will not honour X-Plan on inventory but they may honour it if I order. Which is fine with me since I will be purchasing a new home in early/Mid Summer. I could wait till fall and have the new car then.

What I need to know is what is the price is. I hear its is Invoice so will that make the car 27,901 (from Yahoo.com Auto) or is that the basic Prem. Conv?

Will X-plan be at that price? Or it depends on the Dealership? I already told a dealership off since they told me Invoice does not matter (I assume he saw how they are selling and thinks no way he goes for that)

If this is the case why would I want to deal with Ford if dealers do not want to sell a car for that price? I could use the discount opt for a different car company.

Again I will order and am no hurry for a car (I waited 10 years I can wait another year)

Any advise is welcome

regards,

FV

Look, call all the dealerships in your area. Say "will you order me a 05 Mustang GT at X plan?" If no, move on, if yes go down there.

Ask to have them price a car, tell them you want XY&Z and tell them to print you a copy with X plan. Order the car. Wait.

Well the ones will take X plan, you need to go down there get and have them place a fake order in their system to generate the final price for your car at X plan.

You can goto www.fordpartners.com
There you put in your companies code, not your pin, but a 5 digit code you should have had when you got your pin. and build your car
it will tell you what the cost is.
good luck

well xplan is cheaper than invoice but not by a lot.
I saved like 2000 grand on a deluxe gt. Loaded was like 3000 grand. So for a convertible probably 3-4000 off would be my guess. But it was under invoice.
