I am worried about the spinners on the V6 rims...while looking at a black V6 i got curious to see how well the spinners were on the car...and it was ridiculous how easy it was to get them off....they just popped right off. Is there any way to prvent someone from stealing the caps?

 

You bumped an almost three month thread for that? And to my knowledge they are for show maybe the aftermarket can make a kind that locks in better.

 

I believe someone said you could use a wooden dowl inside the spinner so the release tabs can't be compressed. The only way to get the spinner off would be to take the wheel off first, and remove the dowl from inside the wheel. Sounds like it would work, but of course I haven't tried it.
